The Greeting Farm April Blog Hop

The April 2024 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store. This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. Our first set called MERMAID ANYA 2 takes us under the sea with a gorgeous Anya and her fish and sea horse friends. Next, our furry friends went on a road trip in a caravan in a set called ADVENTURE PALS. Our final set called MISS ANYA STYLE has a beautiful Anya with 4 stunning dresses.

I’m sharing a shaker card I made using the beautiful Mermaid Anya 2 stamp set. I just adore how her hair flows across her face and large coral and starfish fascinator. I combined a few images from an older set called Happy to Sea You. I adhered everything on top of a scallop scale shaker that I’ve had in my stash for years and years and I like how the beachy patterned paper peeks through from behind.

Pretty Pink Posh June Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! Davina here with some incredible new productsfrom Pretty Pink Posh. The new June release is bursting with sweet juicy fruit. And not just regular fruit, but super cute stamps, dies, and stencils that will always be perfectly in season!

Some of my favorite products are the strawberry themed items. I couldn't wait to use the adorable berry carton in the Fresh Berries Stamp Set. I decided to make a lush boxcard using the Scallop Boxcard Die Set and filled it with grassy layers and stamped images.

Although it’s not very visible in the photos, I used the new Layered Strawberry Stencils to create a dreamy pink and green background for my boxcard. I gently splattered the paper before using gold embossing paste for the seeds. Next, I assembled the boxcard, creating 3 grassy inserts and adding a 4th little layer of grass behind the very front piece.

I stamped the strawberry strip from the Fruit Borders Stamp Set in layers to make a sort of patterned paper. I die cut the little scalloped panels for the boxcard, and colored it in with shades of pink and green to match my card. Then, I stamped the leaves and basket onto colored cardstock with matching colored ink. I combined those large images with copic colored berries and sweet little bees from the Bee Friends Stamp Set

I tucked my images throughout the layers, and adhered the little bees to acetate strips for a floating whimsical look. Finally, I finished off this cute little card with a heat embossed sentiment from the Fresh Berry Stamp set. I really love this soft pink basket of berries and hope that you do too. Thank you for stopping by and make sure to hop along to see the inspiration from the Design Team,

Pretty Pink Posh May Blog Hop

Hello Crafty friends! Davina here, sharing brand new products from the Pretty Pink Posh May release. This beautifully curated release is full of items for all of our spring/summer events, like Graduations and Fathers Day, pretty bird themed sets, and more.

I especially loved these detailed Decorative Birdhouses Die Set. All of the pretty stitched details and various door options made it so fun to play with. I cut each house from Bristol Smooth Cardstock two times. With one of each design, I inkblended the house with Distress Oxide Ink, then secured the scallop and trim with washi tape from behind. I also added a little bit of marker detail to each house. Next, I adhered the white trim from my second die cut houses, layered on top, and used a darker marker to color the small strips. Then, I cut and added the doors to each little house.

I was so excited that the birds from A Little Birdie stamp set fit so perfectly with these houses. I stamped and colored three birds to add to my houses, and layered them onto a slimline cardbase that I gently inked.  I stamped the nice long branch from the Spring Birdhouses stamp set onto the cardbase as well. I intentionally left it as an outline so it wouldn’t distract from my little row of cute houses. I finished this off  with a heat embossed sentiment and a sprinkling of colored confetti from the new Rainbow Shimmer Confetti Mix

Make sure you “Hop along” all three days to see the incredible DT samples with this wonderful release,

Davina

Pretty Pink Posh May Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! I’m so excited to be a guest this month for Pretty Pink Posh Design Team. Today we’re celebrating the May release at with a blog hop and fun giveaway. There are 3 days of hops, and 3 $30 gift certificates up for grabs. So make sure to visit each stop and leave a comment along the way. All comments must be left by by 11:59 pm PST on 5/22/22 and winners are announced on the PPP blog.

This release is full of tons of crafty fun and pretty spring florals. The card I’m sharing, uses the sweet Spring Flowers and Crafty Sentiments  sets. I began by stamping all of the pretty flowers onto bright white Neenah cardstock. I colored everything with copic markers and cut our using the coordinating dies. Next, I used an older die set to cut out the little blocks called Mini Storybook Die, and it created the perfect little place to arrange the Spring Floral images.

I inkblended a small panel of cardstock to place under the cut outs, then adhered the flowers into the openings. Some I glued down flat, and some I popped up with foam dots. I decided to add a few little bees from an older set called Bee Friends, and they really made the difference. I used one of the wonderful sentiments from the Crafty Sentiments set under the flowers, then layered the panel on top of some pretty patterned paper.

This little card came together relatively quickly but it packs a punch! I think these florals are so cute and can be combined easily with many of the flower images from other PPP sets. Make sure to visit the Pretty Pink Posh Blog  to see the inspiration from the entire Design Team and Guests, and to participate in the different hops for your chance to win.
