Frappy Camper blog hop with Trinity Stamps And CLC

Hello there my inky fingered friends. I’m participating in a fun fall collaborative blog hop with Trinity Stamps and Coffee Loving Cardmakers (CLC). I’m using the recently released collaboration set, Frappy Camper stamps and dies, that I also happened to illustrate.

This fun little retro camper turned coffe truck, inspired me to create a “Vintage Halloween” shaker card. I had some very old patterned paper in my stash that I’ve always loved and could never part with. I felt it was so appropriate for this project. I cut several layers of patterned and colored paper before creating a shaker frame out of black cardstock and black insulation foam. I purchased this foam online hoping to substitute it for the white scotch foam tape we use. I love the scotch brand, but when making a darker card I don’t like how the white is visible. I found it on amazon and it was only a few dollars for two rolls. The downside is I t’s adhesive only on one side so I used tape runner to attach the other side, but on the upside, it’s a little thicker than the scotch brand so I didn’t have to double it up which is so bulky and my sequins shake freely. Overall, I like it!

I inkblended a little piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock using my Trinity Blending Buddy to serve as the starry background to the shaker part, and splattered it with white and black ink. Then I filled the little pocket with a good amount of Trinity Stamps Spook Squad Sequin Mix which it totally cute and contains clear ghosts, shiny black bats, and orange jack o lanterns.

I stamped my images using my stamp platform, and Copic colored them in bright Halloween colors. I wanted to create my scene to look like a couple was on their way to a Halloween party, and stopped for a little pick me up. My little Witch and Skelton face couple are enjoying some PSL’s in front of the coffee truck and having a blast. I glued everything down on top of the shaker window and stamped my banner using the Autumn Sentiments set then mounted mylayered card face onto a cardbase using score tape.

I hope you like this funky little card and please follow along the rest of the hop to see all of the incredible inspiration and for your chance to win some free stuff to Trinity Stamps.
