I cut my panels and trimmed them down to size before doing some quick and simple ink blending. I always use at least two colors, a lighter and darker for dimension, but if I know I’m blending into white I put down a layer of white distressink to blend into where I want the white to begin. It really makes the process a lot easier.
Now I’m a cheater, and admitting right now that I printed up the words Bubble Tea, before inkblending. Then I laid a strip of paper over the printed words before flicking clean water, then white opaque ink. Finally I used my stamp platform to stamp the words above, with stamps from the Caffinated Sentiments sets.
I stamped out my images from Coffee With Character using black momento ink on Neenah solar bright white cardstock, and colored them with Copic markers. Then I die cut my images, and added white highlights with a gel pen (but they weren’t as bright as I wanted so I took a tiny liner paintbrush and went over them with white ink. Not the straightest, but definitely bright white!)
